Florian Tram\u00e8r<\/strong> is an assistant professor of Computer Science at\u00a0ETH Z\u00fcrich<\/a>. He leads the\u00a0SPY Lab<\/a>, and is a member of the\u00a0Information Security Institute<\/a>\u00a0and of\u00a0ZISC<\/a>, and an associated faculty of the\u00a0ETHZ AI Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His research interests lie in Computer Security, Machine Learning and Cryptography. In his current work, he studies the worst-case behavior of Deep Learning systems from an adversarial perspective, to understand and mitigate long-term threats to the safety and privacy of users.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His work has been featured in\u00a0The Economist<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0Nature<\/a>,\u00a0Science<\/a>,\u00a0Communications of the ACM<\/a>,\u00a0Wired<\/a> and\u00a0the Swiss news (in french)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
